Stort tack till alla våra givare som möjliggjort sponsring av hela 100 barn med skoluniform på Christmas Tinto Primary School! En skoluniform är mycket viktigare än vad vi kan föreställa oss och att kunna bidra till att de barn vars föräldrar inte har råd med uniformen betyder oerhört mycket. Inte bara tillhörighet utan även varma kläder, riktiga skor och en skolväska. Så här skriver Imibala Trust, vår samarbetspartner som är den organisation som köper in och delar ut uniformer efter att vi meddelat att vi kan öka antalet sponsrade barn från 85 till 100 inför nästa år:
“This is possibly the best news we have received this week. Your willingness to support 100 children in our community whether the crises in their lives makes all the difference for them.
On behalf of the children from Christmas Tinto Primary school, we want to express our sincerest appreciation for your dedication to the young lives we want to uplift. In the words of Desmond Tutu, “Do your little bit of good where you are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.”
